This a my first attempt at a Fillet Style knife. Let’s call it a prototype fillet in 1095. The blade is 10″ with a mustard & cold blue finish. It was hand sanded to 600 grit. The blade thickness is 1/8″. The handle is curly maple with Minwax red mahogany & tung oil finish. It has been hand sanded to 400 grit. There are four 1/16″ brass pins holding the handle on. OAL is 12 3/4″.

I will be making fillet knives in the future out of stainless steel, probably ATS 34 or similar.

    Thanks for Looking
