Belt Knife

May 15, 2010

Hi Everyone,

Just finished this piece for a customer…..a belt knife with tiger stripe maple and nickel silver. The blade is forged from 5160 and is 1/4″ thick at the bolsters….tapering toward the tip. It is of ‘Full “Tang” construction, with a light taper in the handle. My father-in-law fashioned a beautiful leather pouch sheath with mahogany and hints of brown. Blade length is 7 1/4″, O.A.L. is 12 1/4″

This is a general “Do-it-All” knife….kindling, rope cutting, chopping, and in a pinch, field dressing kind a knife.

Hope you like,

Bob
